CU*Answers developing new service for board and business planning

July 2, 2021 - CU*Answers, the West Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, announced that it is currently working on developing a new managed service for board and business planning. One aspect of the service focuses on assisting management teams in structuring and writing professional business plans to be shared with the board and other interested stakeholders. The other side focuses on developing a robust board planning calendar to drive engagement and create routine tasks in the ongoing management of credit union operations.

CU*Answers rolling out vertical receipts to credit unions

May 5, 2021 - CU*Answers, the 100% credit union owned cooperative based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, will now be offering credit unions the ability to switch their receipts from a traditional horizontal layout to a vertical layout. This new feature will be a part of the May 21.05 CU*BASE GOLD Release. The vertical receipt format will allow members to see up to 600 items on a single receipt. The new, easier-to-read vertical format will be used for any receipt from any channel in CU*BASE, including standard Teller, new Xpress Teller platform, and anywhere else receipts are produced.

CU*Answers holds latest high availability rollover

April 28, 2021 - On Sunday April 18th, CU*Answers conducted a routine rollover to their high-availability data center. Twice each year, the 100% credit union owned cooperative based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, tests their ability redirect CU*BASE core-processing from their primary production data center to their high-availability data center. Typically, the routine rollover occurs in a one-week period, however, this rollover will occur over a three-week period.
